GOODYEAR WELT CONSTRUCTION
In this method, the upper and sole are heat-sealed and stitched together creating a durable last. A strip of leather (the Welt) is stitched to the upper and inner sole, then the sole is hind-stitched through the Welt to complete the process. This construction allows multiple sole replacements, extending the life of the footwear.
WATER REPELLENT FULL-GRAIN LEATHER UPPER
Full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable leather. Additionally, since the grain is so tight, it resists moisture very well. It is also treated with a substance that provides a barrier against the absorption of water, but if the water sits on the surface, it will eventually seep through. The water repellent coating can be reapplied if necessary.
STEEL TOE CAP
Rated ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75, EN ISO 20345:2011 or CAN CSA Z195-09, steel toe caps protect the feet from falling or rolling objects.
NYLON MESH LINING
Nylon mesh is resistant to wear and it dries easily. It is a lightweight and relatively flexible material.
CLIMASPHERE INSOLE
This material wicks moisture away from your skin, leaving you sweat-free, while keeping the skin cool and comfortable.
OIL & SLIP RESISTANT RUBBER OUTSOLE
Oil and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole technology aids in maintaning grip on a wide range of floor surfaces without leaving skid or scuff marks behind. This outsole technology meets or exceeds the ASTM F2413-17 SATRA & MARK II F1677-96 non-slip testing standards.
