WOLVERINE CONTOUR WELT Construction:
This is similar to the Goodyear Welt whereby the upper and sole are heat-sealed and stitched together creating a durable last. A strip of leather (the Welt) is stitched to the upper and inner sole, then the sole is hind-stitched through the Welt to complete the process. This construction allows multiple sole replacements, extending the life of the footwear. However, Wolverine adds 2 compression pads to the front and rear of the boot to absorb shock and return energy for all-day comfort.

FULL GRAIN LEATHER:
Full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable leather. Additionally, since the grain is so tight, it resists moisture very well.

COMPOSITE TOE:
Rated ASTM F2413-18 I/75 C/75, these toe caps protect the feet from falling or rolling objects, and are made from a metal free, non-conductive, and lightweight polymer composite.

MOISTURE-WICKING MESH:
A moisture-wicking mesh lining has two jobs: one is quickly moving (wicking) sweat to the outer surface and the other is drying rapidly so that sweat doesn’t saturate the shoe.

PADDED REMOVABLE INSOLE:
This removable insole has been cushoined for added comfort.

POLYURETHANE CUSHIONED MIDSOLE:
Polyurethane is a dense type of foam with excellent durability. Polyurethane gives less bounce, but its bounce lasts longer.

RUBBER OUTSOLE:
This rubber outsole is designed to offer protection from slipping regardless of what may be found on surfaces such as water or grease and is also resistant to oily substances. It will not guarantee that you will not slip, but it greatly reduces the likelihood.
