INJECTION MOLDED Construction:
In this method, the upper is placed in a footwear mould, in which the outer sole is attached to the upper by an injection of a molten polymer (such as PU) or rubber. This molten material bonds very strongly to the upper material as it cools.

WATER REPELLENT LEATHER:
Leather is both protective and uniquely comfortable. To be made water repellent, the leather is coated with a water repellent treatment. This provides a barrier against the absorption of water, but if the water sits on the surface, it will eventually seep through. The water repellent coating can be reapplied if necessary.

STEEL TOE:
Rated ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75, EN ISO 20345:2011 or CAN CSA Z195-09, steel toe caps protect the feet from falling or rolling objects.

TEXELLE:
100% breathable polyamide fabric that is abrasion resistant and absorbs and releases moisture.

EVANIT:
EVANIT insoles are constructed from EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) and a nitrile compound, and have a high bearing capacity and variable thicknesses (12mm, 8mm and 3.8mm). They are anatomically thermoformed (heated and formed in a mold), punched, covered in a highly breathable fabric, and antistatic.

SINGLE-DENSITY POLYURETHANE:
Single-density polyurethane is a very light material which guarantees high levels of comfort. It has good resistance to chemicals and hydrocarbon, but no resistance to strong acids. The temperature tolerance lies between -10/-20 and +130/140 degrees. The softness of the material gives the sole a good ground adhesion, so that its slip resistance is comparable to that of TPU and rubber.
